"Angel Baby", ihr größter Hit, war auf Rosie Hamlins einzigem Album (1961, für Brunswick) gar nicht drauf, denn das hatte sie noch mit ihrer damaligen Band für das lokale Highland-Label aufgenommen, wo man die minderjährige Songwriterin erfolgreich um ihre Tantiemen betrogen hatte. Hier ist es nun einer von vier Bonustracks, mit denen auf dieser LP so ziemlich alle frühen Aufnahmen Hamlins (die John Lennon einst zu seinen Lieblingssängerinnen zählte) versammelt sind. Sie zog sich bald darauf ins Privatleben zurück und nahm dann erst ab Ende des Jahrzehnts vereinzelt wieder Songs auf, was aber weitgehend unbemerkt blieb; in späteren Jahren (1990er/2000er) gab Hamlin allerdings wieder vermehrt Konzerte und erinnerte an ihre Rolle in der Popgeschichte.
